The HT8840 All-in-one Portable GHG Analyzers uses a semiconductor QCL as a light source, allowing the laser to pass through a mid-infrared optical cavity. The transmitted light is detected by a mid-infrared photodetector, and the resulting spectra are extracted and analyzed. This process enables accurate determination of target GHG concentrations,  providing more precise, timely, and scientifically reliable measurements.
