Uncooled photodetectors are high-sensitivity photodetectors compatible with various semiconductor photodiodes, including Si, InGaAs, HgCdTe (MCT), and Indium Arsenide Antimonide (InAsSb), and are sensitive to light in the 0.4–12 μm spectral range. These detectors feature a DC-coupled output with a low-noise, wide-bandwidth preamplifier. The housing is constructed from all-aluminum alloy, which not only shields against electromagnetic interference but also provides excellent heat dissipation.
